The team behind Advanced Precision Technologies have more than 25 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience, including manufacturing key parts for the CERN Large Hadron Collider from prototype phases through to completion.
We have also gained substantial experience in the Micro machining sector, with several years of low volume R and D manufacturing for medical and bio science industries where we initiated the development of micron accurate 5 axis machining processes to enable a far more reactive machining facility with a faster turnaround, far more repeatable and highly accurately manufacturing strategies. These strategies were used to successfully provide the US Medical Research and Development market with cutting edge spinal implant prototype variants far quicker and more accurately machined than previously thought possible, securing an ongoing manufacturing relationship that has now initiated and further supported several other rapidly evolving medical trial projects throughout the US and UK markets.
In addition to these experiences and achievements we have also spent over 10 years at the cutting edge of Formula 1 engine component manufacturing. Starting our journey in development engineering and then going on into manufacturing engineering, Winning 7 world championships and supporting numerous other F1 teams engine production and R & D projects. Chasing microns, developing cutting edge technologies, strategies and processes to year on year win the F1 arms race has enabled us to see potential opportunities to learn and develop in any challenging engineering situation.
