Our role within the Formula 1 and Formula E project was to manufacture and develop the tooling, 5 axis machining programs and processes to produce large complex parts for the Formula 1 and Formula E powertrains. Cylinder heads, blocks, sumps, cam covers and E-motor components including Hybrid fuel cell carriers and Hybrid motor future technology parts.
Using the latest 5 axis machine/tool technology we develop processes and strategies alongside some of world leaders in automotive and motorsport engineering to manufacture components that will often have been designed with little and often, zero compromise for a manufacturing process. We utilise a combination of cutting-edge hardware and software with our depth of knowledge to transform designs quickly into working components to be used within some of the most dynamic and harshest environments imaginable.
