About the project
Spinal implants are used to stabilize the unstable spine caused by trauma or by slipped vertebrae (spondylolisthesis) originating from degenerative intervertebral disks. Spinal implants have been manufactured from titanium alloys and polyetheretherketone (PEEK).
Utilising cutting edge 5 axis machining processes and strategies enabled us to accurately machine multiple variants of intricately detailed and highly toleranced parts to an exceptionally high quality. Having a deep understanding of 5 axis machining capability enabled us to supply parts extremely quickly to order on short lead times in varying exotic materials with minimal disruption to the product flow through the business.
